As part of celebrating the Republic Day on 26 January, Maxx Mobile has launched twenty-six new handsets – 19 feature phones and 7 android phones — priced between Rs 1,100 and Rs 7,777.
In a similar move, the phone vendor launched 15 models on 15 August 2013.
With this the total new handsets launched during FY 2013-2014 till date is 105, of which 75 are feature phones, 28 are Android phones and 2 are tablets.
“By offering the largest variety of handsets at varied price points, we want to connect every Indian to the mobile ecosystem, thus contribute to mobile inclusion. Technology being the game changer and mobile being the most significant aspect of it, mobile inclusion is key to the overall growth and development of the nation,” said Ajjay Agarwal, CMD & founder, Maxx Mobile.
The seven Android phones come with Andoid OS Gingerbread and Jelly Bean, 256 MB to 512 MB RAM, up to 2 MP primary camera, LED flash light and up to 1600 mHz battery.
The nineteen feature phones are in the 1.8’ to 2.8’ segment, equipped with dual SIM, GPRS, battery of up to 1500 mHz, security features such as anti-theft and privacy protection and up to 8 GB worth of expandable memory.
The models launched in the Android segment are AX44, AX 45, AX5i, MSD7 Smarty II, AX06, AX409 and AX04 while those launched in the feature phone segment include, MX180, MX422, MX187, MX12, MX444, MX105, MX125, MX553, MX472, MX168, MX467, MX445, MX11, MX103, MX254, MX255, MX433, MX442 and MT352.
