LG Electronics has officially launched the LG X4 on 4 March. Notably, the device was earlier rumored to launch at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It falls in the mid-range smartphone category and priced at KRW 297,000 (around Rs. 18,000) in South Korea.
The launch of the smartphone in India is not confirmed yet. In this price category, the phone is expected to compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in case it launches in India.
The handset comes with the LG Pay feature. The user can make payments via this feature with the help of fingerprint sensor apart from password option. One can also click selfie by using the fingerprint sensor on the rear.
LG X4 sports a 5.3-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. In terms of OS, the smartphone runs on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM (LPDDR3) and 16GB internal storage.
Talking about the camera, LG’s new offering comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera. LG X4 will be made available in two color variants, Black and Gold. The mid-range device houses a non-removable 3000mAh battery.
