Huawei has launched a number of smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio display recently. The Chinese company is looking to further expand the full-screen display devices in the market.
According to various reports, Huawei will launch Honor 9 Lite with 18:9 display on December 21. The handset is recently spotted on TENNA (Chinese certification website). The phone will fall into the mid-range smartphone category.
The company is hosting an event on the same date in Shenzhen, China. In terms of specs and features, rumors suggest that the phone will feature the 5.65-inch FHD 18:9 display. One of the highlights of the phone could be the dual-lens camera setup at the front as well as on the rear side. The rear camera will be of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel and 13MP and 2MP camera sensors on the front.
Honor 9 Lite is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset will sport fingerprint scanner on the back. It will mark an octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The release date of Honor 9 Lite in India is not confirmed yet. Also, the price is also yet to announce by the company. There are bunch of smartphones which will give a tough fight the upcoming smartphone of Huawei in mid-range category. Stay tuned for more tech news and update.
