India-based e-commerce marketplace Flipkart has launched its first tablet Digiflip Pro XT712, priced at Rs 9999.
Powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core Cortex A7 processor, the 7 inch tablet comes with 1280×800 HD resolutions with IPS display.
Flipkart is also offering benefits worth over Rs 5000 and free eBooks worth over Rs 2000 for customers who buy the product. Customers can avail these benefits by shopping from the Flipkart mobile apps that come pre-installed on the tablet.
The tablet, which comes with dual SIM and 3G calling facility, offers usual Flipkart benefits like COD and a 30-day replacement policy.
The after sales service for Digiflip Pro tablets will be handled through a network of over 120 service centers in 100+ cities. Additionally, customers in 13 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad can avail of priority 24-hour service by visiting any of the 22 priority centers that Flipkart has partnered with in these cities.
After sales service has become a challenge for e-commerce marketplace. Recently Chinese phone maker Gionee advised customers not to buy from e-commerce platforms as they fail in after sales service. In the wake of this, companies like Flipkart are trying to woo customers with better service options.
