Sony India has priced Xperia E1 at Rs 9,490 and Xperia E dual, the dual-SIM version, at Rs 10,490 for mobile Indians.
Unlike its several rivals, Sony made several changes in the look of Xperia E1. It does not look like Xperia E, the earlier version.
The main difference is that Xperia E1 has a Walkman key on the top of the smartphone. Xperia E did not have Walkman key.
Xperia E1 and E1dual features 4” WVGA (800 x 480) display, 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB storage, Walkman, 3 MP camera and 1700 mAh battery with stamina mode, etc.
Xperia E battery does not support you throughout the day if you are heavy user to make calls and send SMS.
We are not sure whether the 1700 mAh battery will be sufficient for Xperia E1.
Also, Xperia E can get scratches easily. We cannot even drop the phone on the road once. You will feel the heat.
It seems Xperia E1 has a better body quality.
The company said the new Xperia E1 and E1 Dual will be available at all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India.
Sony Mobiles in a statement issued in Delhi said Xperia E1 is mid-tier smartphone with seriously premium credentials. A solid feel, fast processor and vivid 4” display combined with fast data speeds provides an all-round performance, whilst its audio experience and content offer provides real differentiation.
With ClearAudio+ mode, you can instantly enhance your listening experience and optimize the balance of frequencies whilst xLOUD ensures loud and crystal clear sound.
Walkman button ensure that loading and navigating your tracks couldn’t be easier, whilst the latest generation of Sony’s WALKMAN App makes short work of combining on and offline music, creating playlists, as well as playing and sharing tracks.
Xperia E1 incorporates expertise from Sony’s digital display technologies to provide an immersive visual experience. Whether watching movies or viewing photos, the display looks both vibrant and clear.
