Samsung launches Galaxy Tab S starting Rs 37,800

Samsung Electronics has launched Galaxy Tab S at an MOP of Rs 37,800 for 8.4 inch and Rs 44,800 for 10.5 inch.

Powered by Exynos 5 Octa-core processor, Galaxy Tab S offers an enhanced entertainment performance. Incorporating 3GB RAM and a 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable to 128 GB, Galaxy Tab S delivers a faster and more powerful experience.

Equipped with Android’s latest Kit-Kat operating system the tablet has an 8 megapixel rear camera with full HD video in high quality capability and a 2.1 megapixel HD front camera.

AMOLED display delivers more than 90 percent of Adobe RGB color coverage – expressing more colors than ever before and has a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, which provides deeper and more realistic images by making blacks darker and whites brighter.

The Galaxy Tab S also features additional Samsung screen technologies that go beyond the hardware specifications. The tablet’s Adaptive Display ensures the best visual experience anywhere, anytime by intelligently adjusting gamma, saturation and sharpness.

In addition, Galaxy Tab S users can enjoy content clearly and easily outdoors, even in bright sunlight. The tablet’s advanced outdoor visibility technology makes on-screen content look bright, natural, and easy to view.

Made for entertainment, Galaxy Tab S comes with a variety of content including Galaxy Gift and MyPlex, which offers the latest Hollywood blockbusters to choose from. Magzter offers 3 month subscription of 21 leading Indian magazine for Tab S users.

While the Tab S has calling built in, users can also make and receive calls directly from their phone (currently supporting Galaxy S5) to their Galaxy Tab S, anywhere at home, no matter where their phone is with the call forwarding feature via SideSync 3.0.

Additional useful features include a Multi User Mode that enables up to 8 users to create their own personal optimized profile, safe and convenient access with a built-in Fingerprint Scanner, and a specially designed Kids Mode with its own dedicated interface and kid-friendly applications.

All Samsung Galaxy Tab S consumers will get 9 GB of free data from Reliance Communications, which can be used on 3G or 2G. In addition, consumers will also get free access to a library of more than 1000 movies through BigFlix for 3 months on the Reliance Communications connection.
