Samsung, India’s #1 smartphone maker, has introduced Galaxy Trend, a dual SIM phone with 4.1-inch screen. Galaxy Trend has been priced at Rs 8490.
The launch is part of Samsung’s strategy to enhance mid-range phones in the country. Last week, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smart watch for mobile Indians.
Snapdeal.com, an ecommerce portal, has listed the Samsung Galaxy Trend on its site. This dual SIM phone comes with a 4.1-inch screen with a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480. It is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Dual Core processor and runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Samsung Galaxy Trend sports a 3 MP camera.
It has an internal memory of 4 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card. Its connectivity features include Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPRS and 3G among others.
The design and overall look of Samsung Galaxy Trend may not be appealing to all. This means, Samsung has not invested in a new design to attract masses.
