Samsung and Nook has announced the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.

It is a 7 inch tablet with Android OS and optimized for reading. The device is available online at bn.com and nook.com at a price of $179.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook will also be available at 660 Barnes & Noble bookstores and it will include bestselling books, popular TV shows, top magazines from the Nook store worth $200 for free.

The tablet is basically designed for the users that enjoy reading, browse the Web, watch videos, use apps. It has Samsung’s sleek, ultra-light premium tablet design which makes it easy to hold. It weighs only 9.74 ounces.

The 7 inch HD display 800 x 1280 resolution provides the users with high end experience while reading books, magazines, playing games or enjoying videos.

The tablet sports a 3 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera for video chats.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1 GB RAM.

The device has a internal memory storage of 16 GB which can be extended up to 64 GB.

The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is available in two colour variants, White and Black.
