Samsung India today said its flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone will enable people to ensure better customer experience. The price will be Rs 51,000 to Rs 53,000.
The product will be available from 11 April and pre-booking will start on 29 March.
The new phone, which was announced in Korea on several telecom operator networks, has an Adaptive Display. This was one of the main demands of Indian device users.
Samsung officials at a press meet in Delhi said the company made significant improvement in power and battery management. It has 2,800 mAh battery with expanded life on both 2G and 3G networks.
Camera is one of the most critical elements for Samsung users.
Galaxy S5 has got high dynamic range. It comes with Hybrid AF. It is one of the fastest in the world. It can capture picture in 0.3 seconds.
“What you see is what you get,” Samsung India director Manu Sharma said.
It ensures selective focus. You can see the difference in picture if you have selective focus and no selective focus.
Best 3G coverage HSPA + 42 Mbps can be ensured with Galaxy S5. It has true octa core for better processing speed.
It is water resistant. You have seen some of the Xperia smartphones from Sony Mobile. Galaxy S5 is not water proof.
It has ultra power saving mode. It has black and white screen. With 10 percent battery, you can work on the smartphone, Samsung said.
Finger security is the main feature of Galaxy S5.
Private mode is yet another feature. You can have personal file.
Kids can use Galaxy S5. There is Kids Mode.
Galaxy S5 comes in several vibrant colors.
Samsung India is likely to price Galaxy S5 smartphone at around Rs 51,000 to Rs 54,000.
The smartphone will be available in April.
