HTC Butterfly S smartphone will be rolled out soon in the Indian mobile market.
The phone, which runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), is currently available in Taiwan. The HTC Butterfly S will be priced in Taiwan for $766 in July.
As a value addition, the Taiwanese phone company is offering 25GB of free Dropbox storage.
The 5-inch Butterfly S smartphone comes with 1920x1080p resolution and 441ppi pixel density.
The new smartphone from HTC runs on 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor.
HTC Butterfly S smartphone is available with 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage and supports expansion up to 64GB via microSD cards.
HTC says the phone features 4MP rear camera with UltraPixel technology and LED flash, and 2.1MP front camera.
Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.
Sense user interface is part of HTC Butterfly S.
3200mAh battery is an important value addition as the original Butterfly comes with 2020mAh unit.
Considering the current features, HTC’s new phone does not have enough value addition to mobile phone users in India.
