GATE training organization GATEFORUM has launched Gtab, a 10 inch tablet exclusively for students who prepare for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) at a price of Rs 19990.
Runs on Android Jelly Bean, Gtab comes preloaded with E-lectures covering the entire Gate Syllabus, two full length tests and 30 topic wise tests. The Gategorum officials said that all the content is preloaded on a SD card.
“Gtab is for students who do not have a computer and they can treat it as a personal trainer. The comprehensive e-study materials are avilable in the tab in PDF formats. The device contains high quality GATE study material with tools that make learning easy. One can search topics, mark or highlight the important points and make notes while studying,” said the company officials.
The advantage that the tab offers is that students can attempt the tests offline. Gtab also has prerecorded lectures by some of the best faculty, covering the entire GATE syllabus. These lectures focus on concept building as well as extensive problem solving and can be considered as a substitute for classroom lectures.
GATE Resources are also available in Gtab. Besides, it also includes GATE exam pattern, GATE toppers testimonials, GATE analysis, post GATE admission guide etc. Gtab contains previous GATE papers and video discussion of solutions as well.
Abhijit Chaudhari, Director, GATEFORUM said: “Gtab is a standalone product. If a student wishes to additionally take any other package he can enroll for the said package with Gtab as add on. Gtab is available for the streams of CS, ECE, EE and ME.”
