The price is on the higher side comparing with other smartphones from Micromax. The retail price of Canvas Knight, which is available in Black, White& Gold and Black & Gold with an aluminium body, is Rs 19,999 in India.
The mid level to premium priced smartphone is offering several features.
First, let us talk about Octa-Core from MediaTek 2GHz Tru Octa-Core MT6592T processor to ensure better performance. To support, Octa-Core, the smartphone has a 2GB RAM.
Finbarr Moynihan, general manager – International Sales & Marketing, MediaTek, said: “Octa-Core means, users can enjoy heavy web downloading, hardcore gaming, high-quality premium video viewing or other types of rigorous multitasking without experiencing lag times or excessive battery consumption.”
The company does not say the difference in processing speed.
In addition, the MT6592T supports ARM Mali450 GPU to deliver superior gaming experience.
Second, Canvas Knight, which has 12.7 cm (5”) SHARP FHD IPS display, comes with several camera features.
One of the attractions of the 16MP rear camera is OmniVision’s CameraChip sensor and a new generation M8 Largan Lens. M8 Largan Lens allows mobile phone users to record videos with a resolution of 1920*1080 at a speed of 30 frames per second. The rear camera comes with voice command capabilities.
OmniVision CameraChip sensors allows you to take images in rapid succession, fulfilling image processing functions, image size, frame rate, exposure, gain, cropping and orientation are programmable through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB).
Canvas Knight’s Camerazzi camera feature offers functions such as 360 Degree Panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser.
