Galaxy S9 is one of the smartphones everybody is looking forward to. The rumors regarding the flagship are on new high as the launch date of the phone is coming closer. Recently, reports published on media outlets suggest that S9 might launch earlier than expected, which is in January 2018.

According to Independent, the high-end device will come in four colors including black, blue, gold and purple. Notably, the current version of S-series, S8 is available in black, grey, blue and silver colors. There might not be a huge change in the design of the upcoming phone compared to its preceder, S8.
Expected specs and features
Samsung Galaxy S9 could have a dual-lens camera, which is expected to be top-notch when it comes to low-light photography. Apart from this, the flagship will be available in two variant 5.8-inch (S9) and 6.2-inch (S9+).
Speculations further suggest that the handset will mark Qualcomm 845 Snapdragon processor with 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. On the security front, S9 expected to have under the display fingerprint sensor. In terms of competition, the mentioned phone will go head-to-head with Apple iPhone X and LG G7.
