HMD Global set to launch Nokia 1, an entry-level smartphone on 25 February 2018, a day before the starting of MWC 2018, as per the reports.
The upcoming budget smartphone is expected to go on sale at the beginning of the March. Notably, the firm is also launching other smartphones at MWC 2018 including, Nokia 9, Nokia 3310 4G, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7.
HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas has hinted the launch with this Tweet. Recently, the images of the smartphone leaked on Baidu.

Nokia 1 will be Android Go (an Oreo version designed for entry-level phone) based smartphone. In terms of specs and features, the device is likely to sport an IPS display. The handset might come up with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. In terms of design, the budget smartphone could sport polycarbonate body as per the reports. Not much is known regarding the phone.
The launch of the device in India is not confirmed yet. Talking about the price, it might cost around $100, which means it will be Nokia’s most affordable handset. Currently, Nokia 2 is the company cheapest phone in the market.
