Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones. The company is now rumored to launch three more smartphones including Mi MIX 2S in upcoming months.
However, the date of official launch by the company is not announced yet.
Mi MIX 2S is said to be the successor of Mi MIX 2. If rumors are to be believed, the phone’s firmware details were recently surfaced online. The speculations further suggest that the high-end device might feature a 5.99-inch bezel-less display with a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Talking about the design of the phone, it might come up with an iPhone X-like notch on the top of the display and ceramic back with a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of processor, the handset is tipped to mark Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is worth mentioning that the same processor is featured in Samsung Galaxy S9. The device could mark 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The combination of Snapdragon 845 and 6GB RAM will certainly make the Xiaomi smartphone a true flagship.
Furthermore, Mi MIX 2S is rumored to carry a 3400mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo. One of the most interesting features the phone is likely to come up with is an AI-based smart rear camera, similar to Huawei Mate 10’s camera AI. The AI is said to detect objects like animals, building, trees, and others.
