Priced at around Rs 18,000, Karbonn Mobiles Titanium X will be competing against Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, which has already seen a successful ride in India.
Karbonn Mobiles Titanium X, which was unveiled by the telecom minister Kapil Sibal – at the India Telecom 2013 – is a better smartphone than Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. GizmoLead.com’s Anand B compares both phones’ main specifications.
The newly launched Titanium X comes with 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor, while Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos with a 5-inch Capacitive Touchscreen has 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor.
Grand Duos has 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera against 13 MP rear Camera with dual flash along with a 5 MP front camera available with Titanium X. There are value added camera features available with both the smartphones.
Grand Duos sports Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. Titanium X features Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Titanium X has 1GB RAM plus 16GB internal memory and OTG support for up to 32GB.
Grand Duos comes with IGB RAM and 8GB internal memory along with microSD support for up to 64 GB.
Titanium X is powered by 2,300 mAh battery. Galaxy Grand Duos has 2,100 mAh battery offering talk time of 10 hours on 3G and 440 hours of standby time on 3G.
Titanium X features a full HD screen with resolution of 1920*1080p. It has One Glass Screen to give long life to the screen, and is enabled with an IPS One Glass Screen to give long life to the screen.
On the other hand, Galaxy Grand Duos has 5 inch capacitive WVGA display with a depth of 16 M colors with 480 x 800 Pixels.
There are other compelling features at both the smartphones.
