Targeting more price points, Huawei on Thursday launched four new smartphones — Huawei Ascend G700, G610, Y511 and Y320 – in the Indian telecom market.
Unable to compete with big rivals, Huawei is in the process of expanding its smartphone presence in India. Huawei does not feature in top 5 smartphone market list which is dominated by Samsung. The other smartphone vendors include Micromax, Karbonn, etc.
The company’s smartphones are available through major e-commerce channels.
The main difference among these four smartphones is the change in screen size, battery, camera and processor. Off course, better features attract better price.
Main features of Huawei Ascend G700 include 5-inch HD IPS Touch Screen, 720×1280 screen resolution, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 2150 mAh battery, 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor, 8MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 8 GB memory, expandable memory of up to 32GB, etc.
The price of Huawei Ascend G700 in India is Rs 17,999.
Huawei Ascend G610 comes with a 5-inch qHD IPS Touch Screen with screen resolution of 540×960 pixels, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 2150 mAh battery, 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor, 5MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 4GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB.
Connectivity options in the phones include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS.
The price of Huawei Ascend G700 is Rs 12,999.
Huawei Ascend Y511 comes with a 4.5” FWVGA screen with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 Pixels, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.3 Ghz MTK 6572 processor, 1730mAh battery, 3 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera, storage capacity of 4GB, expandable up to 32 with a MicroSD card.
Features of Huawei Ascend Y320 include 4” touch-screen display and a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.3 Ghz dual core processor, 1350mAh battery, 2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera, storage capacity of 4GB, expandable up to 32 with a MicroSD card
Y511 is available in Black and White and is priced at Rs 7,499 and Huawei Ascend Y320 is priced at Rs 6,499.
