Truecaller has announced its new SMS replacement app, Truemessenger. The app will allow users to put a name to a number on their SMS messages and automatically filter out spam.
Truemessenger is designed as an SMS replacement app, with an automated spam filter.
Truemessenger puts users in control of who they communicate with and keeps their inbox clean and free from unwanted messages.
# The ability to put a name to a number, even for contacts outside phonebook.
# The resources to detect, block, and report spam alongside other Truecaller members.
# The option to avoid messages from unwanted numbers and contacts.
# A clean Inbox where spam messages are sent to a separate folder.
# The ability to add advanced filtering options by creating customized filters with known spam keywords or number series (area codes or country codes).
# Truemessenger Bonus: Exclusive message alert tone brought to you by Avicii.
Truemessenger is available for free on Android, and is complementary to the Truecaller and Truedialer apps.
“With Truemessenger we’ve reimagined the SMS app experience by making it more social and putting control back into the users’ hands so they always know who they are communicating with.” said Alan Mamedi, CEO & co-founder of Truecaller.
