Casio has introduced a timepiece to its outdoor activity PRO TREK line. The PRW-3500 will be on display at Baselworld 2015 in Switzerland from March 19.
The PRW-3500 is the first PRO TREK watch to feature 200-meter water resistance, Casio’s Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, and Tough Solar Power.
The PRW-3500 boasts Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology which includes a direction sensor and pressure sensor for compass and altimeter/barometer readings.
The atmospheric sensor includes a pressure trend alarm to keep users informed of any sudden pressure swings.
The timepiece also enables the user to check—and record—all the needed information on outdoor conditions.
The device uses Casio’s Tough Solar Power technology, that offers battery life of approximately 23 months without further exposure to light and a special Power Save feature allows the timepiece to power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time.
The timepiece can be charged even in low or fluorescent light and features a full auto LED backlight which illuminates in the dark with a tilt of the wrist.
The PRW 3500 also comes with Casio’s Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology. It automatically synchronizes with atomic clocks in the US, Germany, the UK, China and two in Japan based on the user’s home city setting.
The PRW-3500 is available in three colors including: silver bezel with black resin band at a price of $300, orange bezel with orange resin band at $320, and black bezel with titanium band at $450.
