Canon India today launched a new range of projectors. The new line-up includes five LV-series and four XEED series projectors. The price of the new series of projectors is ranging from Rs 40,750 to Rs 500,000.
“The new Canon projectors are equipped with high quality optics to cater to such needs. We will be reaching out to potential customers across all the major metros and aim to capture 10 percent market share by 2017,” said Kazutada Kobayashi, president and CEO of Canon India.
The new series will offer customers better projection of images of precise colors; lower operational costs, ease-of-use and energy efficiency.
These projectors boast eco-friendly features, which include an enhanced lamp lighting system and a standby mode consuming only as low as 0.7W and reduces CO2 emissions.
The company has used its LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) technology in its XEED series of projectors. The technology allows projections that are free of the “lattice effect”.
The XEED projectors are targeted at sectors like large corporate, education, medical and government and can also be leveraged by the simulation industry.
The XEED range includes the XEED WUX450 and the XEED WX520, XEED WUX400ST and the XEED WX450ST.
The LV Series is the portable range of projectors. This range uses DLP BrilliantColor display technology to deliver realistic color, 3000 lumens of brightness, a 2300:1 contrast ratio for pure black with depth and dimension and filter-free operation.
The projector in the Eco mode lowers the cost of ownership and helps reduce power consumption by approximately 20 percent while also lowering fan noise.
They are also 3D-ready when combined with an optional DLP-Link System and other accessories.
The LV-series includes the LV-WX300, LV-X300, LV-S300, LV-WX300ST and LV-X300ST.
